Safety First,
Celebrations Next.
Diwali is a festival of lights and joy. Ensuring the safety of your loved ones makes the celebrations truly memorable. Please read our mandatory safety guidelines before handling fireworks.
Essential Safety Rules
Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Always keep fireworks in a closed box, away from direct sunlight, children, and any heat sources.
Keep Water Handy
Always have a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher nearby while lighting fireworks to handle emergencies.
Light One at a Time
Never attempt to light multiple fireworks simultaneously. Light them one by one and step back immediately.
Maintain Safe Distance
Keep a safe distance of at least 15-20 feet after lighting a cracker. Do not lean over fireworks while lighting them.
Wear Cotton Clothes
Avoid wearing synthetic or loose-fitting clothing, which can easily catch fire. Cotton is always recommended.
Supervise Children
Never let young children handle fireworks alone. Sparklers should be lit by adults and held at arm's length.
Don't Relight Duds
If a firework fails to go off, wait for 15-20 minutes, then pour water on it. Never attempt to relight a dud.
Use Open Spaces
Only light fireworks outdoors in clear, open spaces away from houses, dry leaves, and highly flammable materials.
In Case of Emergency
If a burn occurs, immediately pour cool water over the affected area for at least 10 minutes. Do not apply ice, butter, or ointment. Seek immediate medical attention for serious injuries.
